Madre Mezcal is produced at the García Morales family ranch in Oaxaca using traditional methods — earthen-pit roasted agave, open-air fermentation, copper-pot distillation. The pour is balanced rather than brutal: soft smoke over sweet roasted agave, citrus brightness, an earthy pepper finish. The mezcal for people who think they don't like mezcal.
