Build the drink

Method

    Chill a coupe by placing it in the freezer or filling it with ice water while you prepare the cocktail.

    Add gin, green Chartreuse, maraschino liqueur and fresh lime juice to a cocktail shaker.

    Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until very cold and properly diluted.

    Double-strain into the chilled coupe to remove ice shards and achieve a silky texture.

    Serve without garnish or add a single brandied cherry if you prefer a hint of sweetness.
