The 90-Second Pours
1. The Tap Room (whiskey highball)
2 oz bourbon, top with cold club soda, big ice, lemon peel. That's it. Use Buffalo Trace or any bourbon under $35 — this isn't a sipping pour.
2. The Power Play (tequila & grapefruit)
2 oz blanco tequila, 4 oz Squirt or grapefruit soda, lime wedge, salt rim if you're showing off. Done.
3. The Empty Net (vodka soda, but better)
2 oz vodka, 4 oz soda, splash of fresh lime, generous slice of cucumber. Refreshing, low-cal, you can have three.
The Overtime Pour
4. The Buffalo Boulevardier
1.5 oz bourbon (we like Old Forester 1920 here), 1 oz Campari, 1 oz sweet vermouth (Carpano Antica). Stir over ice 15 seconds, strain into a rocks glass with one big cube. Orange peel. That's a hockey cocktail.
